Spurs Up x 2: South Carolina lands second commitment of the day from JUCO DE Devontae Davis

South Carolina is having a great day on the recruiting trail as the Gamecocks just landed their second commitment of the day for the 2019 recruiting cycle.
The first commitment of Wednesday came from Miami offensive lineman Mark Fox, who chose the Cocks over offers from Florida, Georgia, Auburn and Ole Miss among others. The latest addition comes from junior college defensive end Devontae Davis. The Gamecocks now have five 2019 commitments before we even get to the finish of the 2018 recruiting cycle.
Davis, originally from Aiken, South Carolina, plays for Georgia Military College. He had been receiving some interest from Florida State before deciding to pull the trigger on the South Carolina offer.
