Michael Turner is staying in the boot. The John Curtis standout wide receiver from New Orleans has committed to play for LSU.
Turner shared the big news on his Twitter account Friday.

Turner is listed as measuring 6-1, 170 pounds. Turner is rated 3-stars, the No. 9 player in Louisiana, No. 37 ATH and No. 436 prospect overall nationally in the Class of 2024 on the 247Sports Composite. The ATH label is used for multi-position prospects, though Turner’s future in Baton Rouge appears to be at wide receiver, as he was recruited by Cortez Hankton.
LSU was the most recent team to extend a scholarship offer to Turner, bringing the total to 23. Prior to LSU’s offer last week, Turner had also received interest from Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss and Tennessee.
