Co-defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward confirmed Thursday to the media that Lammons had missed some practice time, but it was due to a rib injury. With Lammons out, Al Harris Jr. and Rico McWilliams will see increased playing time, with Harris likely the starter.
“I think Chris is probably doubtful for this game due to the ribs,” Ward said, via 247Sports. “I think it will be Al and Rico will be the starters from what I’ve seen.”
Losing a starting cornerback against Kentucky’s passing attack is tough.
