Steve Spurrier’s wife Jerri expected to make full recovery following health scare

One of the most beloved figures in modern SEC history had a recent health scare as Jerri Spurrier had to be hospitalized for over a week. Fortunately, Steve Spurrier’s wife is out of the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
Spurrier recently shared the news of his wife’s condition with Josh Kendall of The State. According to Spurrier, his wife suffered an infection following a ruptured appendix. The condition forced her to be hospitalized in Gainesville for eight days. On a positive note, Spurrier indicated his wife’s most recent blood test came back normal.
The Spurrier’s moved back to Gainesville after Steve was named as an ambassador to the Florida football program following his departure from the South Carolina football program.
