Kyle Trask left his NFL preseason debut with a rough stat line of 4-of-15 passing for 35 yards. Tampa Bay coach Bruce Arians, however, was pleased with what he saw from the former Florida quarterback against the Cincinnati Bengals.
“I thought Kyle played well,” Arians told reporters. “Kyle went in there and made some throws. Guys need to make plays for him. I like his poise and where he’s at.”
Trask did not throw a touchdown in his first preseason game but he did add to the Bucs’ scoring with a successful two-point conversion after a pick-six.
