Tennessee adds blue-chip 2025 commitment, flipping 4-star Alabama LB pledge

Jaedon Harmon has been set on playing in the SEC. On Sunday, he announced a change in which SEC school he plans to join.
Harmon, a blue-chip linebacker from Georgia, announced he is now committed to play for Tennessee. He had been verbally pledged to Alabama since April 14.
He shared the big news on social media:

Out of Rome (Georgia) High School, Harmon’s listed measurements are 6-2, 215 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, he is rated 4-stars, the No. 18 linebacker, No. 19 Peach State product and No. 155 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.
Harmon drew plenty of interest beyond just Tennessee and Alabama. His offer list of 37 includes Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Mizzou, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Texas, Texas A&M and USC.

Josh Heupel’s Tennessee staff has some notable momentum on the recruiting trail right now. Harmon’s commitment comes a day after 5-star offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. picked the Volunteers over Georgia, Ohio State and others.
