Tennessee adds in-state athlete to 2022 recruiting class

Tennessee is making some late moves ahead of Wednesday’s National Signing Day. On Monday, the Vols added a 3-star athlete to the mix.
The latest commitment for Josh Heupel and the Vols comes from Derek Taylor, a native of Greenbrier, Tennessee.
As you can see below, Taylor took to Twitter on Monday evening to announce his commitment to the Vols:

Taylor will likely join the team as a preferred walk-on. Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Taylor is the No. 134 athlete in the class of 2022 and and the No. 52 overall recruit from the state of Tennessee.
