Tennessee DC Bob Shoop: Team preparing to face a full-strength Florida squad

Tennessee is working under the assumption Florida will be at full strength for Saturday’s game at The Swamp.
That’s the word from Volunteers defensive coordinator Bob Shoop, who met with reporters Tuesday. But the return of the Gators’ suspended players isn’t a done deal, according to Edgar Thompson, who covers the team for the Orlando Sentinel.
“Told it would be surprising if investigation wrapped up this week,” Thompson wrote in a tweet, “but not entirely ruled out.”

Florida had 10 players unavailable due to suspension in its season-opening loss to Michigan in Arlington, Texas. It was expected that one player, receiver James Robinson, would return for last week’s game against Northern Colorado, which was later canceled due to Hurricane Irma. It was later announced that Robinson would be out indefinitely as he deals with a heart issue.
Saturday’s game between Florida and Tennessee will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The game will air on CBS.
