Tennessee drops electric game week hype video for 2022 season opener

It’s almost football time in Tennessee. The Volunteers open the 2022 season on Thursday against Ball State.
To celebrate the start of game week, Tennessee shared an electric hype video on its official Twitter account Sunday.

UT begins Year 2 of the Josh Heupel era. The Vols exceeded expectations in Year 1 under Heupel.
After the late coaching change (relative to the recruiting calendar) of Jeremy Pruitt’s firing and Heupel’s hiring, the Vols saw many talented players leave via the transfer portal. Heupel still led the Vols to a 7-win regular season and a bowl game.
Virginia Tech transfer QB Hendon Hooker is back to lead the Vols offense in 2022. With a strong showing in Week 1, Tennessee might crack the AP Top 25. UT was the top vote-getter among unranked teams in the preseason poll.
Tennessee vs. Ball State is set for 7 p.m. ET Thursday, airing on the SEC Network.
