With back-to-back SEC Player of the Year Grant Williams staying in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Tennessee Volunteers had an opening in their front court.
Now, it seems they’ve filled it, as they landed a commitment from a transfer from Arizona State on Friday evening.
As you can see below, Serbian big man Uroš Plavšić announced via Twitter that he was committing to Rick Barnes and the Vols:

Plavšić spent the 2018-19 season on the Arizona State roster, but ended up redshirting. Now, he’ll head to Knoxville to continue his career. He will likely need a waiver from the NCAA if he’s going to play right away, though.
Coming out of high school as part of the 2018 class, Plavšić was the No. 21 center and the No. 5 overall recruit from the state of Tennessee, where he attended Hamilton Heights Christian Academy, per the 247Sports composite.
