Tennessee lands first signature of early signing period from Tanner Antonutti
When Jeremy Pruitt took over the Tennessee program he said rebuilding the once-proud brand would start with recruiting. He added the caveat that his efforts would begin in-state and he’d work his way out.
Judging by Tennessee’s first signing of the early signing period, Pruitt was telling the truth.
Nashville offensive lineman Tanner Antonutti has become the first signee of the Jeremy Pruitt era on Rocky Top by getting in his signed letter of intent before anyone else. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound athlete actually played tight end in high school but will be making the conversion to the offensive line for the Vols.
