Tennessee is handing the keys to its offense back to true freshman, Harrison Bailey.
That’s according to Dawn Davenport of the SEC Network, who just shared the news on the network leading up to the Vanderbilt game.
According to Davenport, who spoke with Jeremy Pruitt leading up to her segment on SEC Network, Tennessee also plans to play JT Shrout. The Volunteers had a similar plan last weekend against Florida, with both quarterbacks having some success on the field.
Bailey started against Florida and completed 14 of 21 passes for 111 yards and one score. Shrout replaced Bailey late in the game and completed 12 of 14 passes for 121 yards and one score.
Both quarterbacks led the Volunteers to at least one scoring drive against Florida.
Davenport also noted that Jarrett Guarantano and Brian Maurer also traveled for the Vanderbilt game. This is the first Tennessee game in which four quarterbacks traveled this season.
