Just days ahead of Tennessee’s season opener, another Volunteer has reportedly entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Patrick Brown of GoVols247 is reporting, per sources, that UT running back Tee Hodge has entered his name in the portal.

As a freshman, Hodge played in one game last season for the Vols, against Kentucky, taking a redshirt.

Out of Maryville (Tennessee), Hodge was a 3-star prospect, ranked the No. 860 overall player, No. 57 running back and No. 25 recruit in the state of Tennessee on the 247Sports Composite for the 2020 class.

Tennessee opens the 2021 season, the first under new head coach Josh Heupel, at home against Bowling Green on Thursday. The game is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, airing on SEC Network.
