Tennessee is looking for some players to replenish its roster after losing some guys to the transfer portal and Kennedy Chandler to the 2022 NBA Draft.

Could the Vols look to coach Rick Barnes’ old school, Texas, for some help via the transfer portal?

Per college hoops insider Jon Rothstein, Texas transfer guard Courtney Ramey is receiving interest from the Vols, among many other schools:

The Vols will compete with a laundry list of teams for Ramey’s commitment, including Cal, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Illinois, Kansas, Marquette, Maryland, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, San Diego State, SMU, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Western Kentucky, Villanova and Xavier.

This past season, Ramey appeared in 34 games, making 32 starts. He averaged 9.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1 steal per contest.
