Tennessee redshirt sophomore tight end A.J. Branisel is leaving the program, according to Jimmy Hyams.

Branisel caught just three passes for 28 yards and one touchdown in 2013, while playing in 10 games. He redshirted during the 2014 season. The former three-star prospect is originally from South Euclid, Ohio. No other details have been provided about Branisel’s future.

The Vols list seven other tight ends on their 2015 roster, including starter Ethan Wolf.
