The Tennessee Titans have been busy, making a number of roster cuts following the conclusion of the 2022 season.
Unfortunately, former Vanderbilt star linebacker Zach Cunningham is going to be the latest player cut by Tennessee. The team made the news official Wednesday afternoon.
The Titans also revealed Cunningham was cut with a ‘failed physical’ designation. He battled an elbow injury during the season.

Cunningham originally joined the Titans in the middle of 2021 but was limited throughout 2022. He appeared in just 6 games last season with 24 tackles.
Cunningham is just 2 years removed from a 164-tackle performance for the Houston Texans during the 2020 season. He also posted 93 total tackles combined across his time with the Texans and Titans during 2021.
Tennessee also released offensive tackle Taylor Lewan, wide receiver Robert Woods and kicker Randy Bullock Wednesday.
During his time at Vanderbilt, Cunningham had 256 total tackles and 36 TFL, including 125 tackles and 16.5 TFL during a brilliant 2016 season. We’ll see if Cunningham can land with a new team for the 2023 season.
