Tennessee to be without key offensive starter against Texas A&M

If Tennessee is going to upset No. 5 Texas A&M, the Volunteers will have to do it without their leading rusher.
Sophomore running back Eric Gray unavailable for Saturday’s game along with sophomore quarterback Brian Maurer, UT announced before kickoff. The Vols will also be missing assistant coaches Derrick Ansley and Jay Graham.
Gray had appeared in all nine games, recording 157 carries for 772 yards and 4 touchdowns. Senior Ty Chandler will step into the starting running back spot in Gray’s absence. Chandler has also appeared in all 9 games, logging 93 carries for 425 yards and 4 touchdowns.
The game is set for noon ET on ESPN.
