Texas A&M learned its SEC schedule for 2026 to 2029 during a Tuesday night broadcast on the SEC Network, including who its permanent opponents will be.
One of those permanent opponents is not a surprise. That’s Texas, as the Lone Star State foes resumed their rivalry — after a 13-year break — after the Longhorns joined the SEC in 2024. The Aggies will host in College Station in 2026 and 2028, while the Longhorns are set to host in 2027 and 2029.
An opponent that has been on A&M’s schedule each year since 2011, and for several decades before that, is LSU. That will be a permanent opponent for the Aggies through at least the next four seasons as they visit Death Valley in the odd years before hosting in even years.
Texas A&M’s other permanent opponent is Mizzou, which, like the Aggies, joined the SEC from the Big 12 in 2012. But the two programs have only faced each other 17 times coming into 2025. Mizzou will host in 2026 and 2028 before coming to Kyle Field in 2027 and 2029.
Other home games for the Aggies in 2026 will be Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Those will be road games in 2028. In 2027, A&M will face Georgia, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt at home while visiting those teams in 2029.
In 2026, Alabama, South Carolina, and Oklahoma will be road opponents for the Aggies. Those will serve as home games in 2028.
