Out of Houston (Texas) Alief Hastings High School, Orogbo is listed as measuring 6-4, 220 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Orogbo is rated 4-stars, the No. 13 defensive lineman, No. 21 recruit in the Lone Star State and No. 117 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.
Gabe Brooks of 247Sports noted that Orogbo “burst onto the recruiting scene” after a standout 2023 season. As of Monday, Orogbo has received scholarship offers from 39 schools.
Orogbo narrowed it down to Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Washington for his final decisions, all schools he visited in May and June. His lengthy offer list also includes interest from Arkansas, Florida, Miami, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas A&M, USC and others.
His visit to UT campus was documented on social media, allowing him to show fans how he’ll look sporting the No. 11 jersey in burnt orange.

With Orogbo on board, Texas now has 13 verbal commitments for 2025. With room for plenty more pledges, the class currently ranks No. 17 nationally and No. 8 in the SEC on the Composite.
