Texas was off for Week 5 after starting the year 3-1. While it hasn’t been the smoothest season for Arch Manning and the Longhorns, they’ll hope to avoid any more setbacks moving forward.

That includes Week 6’s game at Florida in the Swamp. According to Circa Sports’ odds released on Sunday, Texas is a seven-point favorite, with the over-under set at 46.5.

The Longhorns opened the season with a loss to Ohio State. They had a bit of a slow start against San Jose State before eventually surging to a 38-7 win. Manning managed just 114 yards passing in a win against UTEP, a game during which he heard boos in the first half. Texas then followed that up with a straightforward win over FCS Sam Houston State.

Florida, which was also on an open week, has struggled to a 1-3 record. The Gators breezed past FCS Long Island but fell to South Florida on a last-second field goal. In Week 3, they dropped a 20-10 decision to LSU before a 26-7 loss to Miami.

This is only the third overall meeting between the Longhorns and Gators. Texas defeated Florida, 49-17, in Austin on Nov. 9 as Quinn Ewers threw for 5 touchdowns.
