Texas A&M RB ruled eligible for 2016

Texas A&M and Rakeem Boyd received great news Tuesday.

Boyd has been cleared by the NCAA and is eligible for the 2016 season.

The Houston, Texas, native is listed at 5-foot-11, 198 pounds and was rated a three-star prospect exiting high school, the No. 23 overall running back and the state of Texas’ No. 69 overall prospect, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.

The class of 2016 signee is listed as No. 32 on the Aggies’ roster.
