Texas A&M and Texas were the top two schools recruiting the elite prospects in the state of Texas.

Outside the top ten, the Texas Longhorns did some damage in landing seven of the overall top 25. Texas A&M grabbed another three bringing their total to five of the top 25. Oklahoma also grabbed three top prospects from the state of Texas.
