Texas and Texas A&M will tangle on Black Friday this fall.

On Thursday, the schools announced a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff for Friday, Nov. 28 in Austin.

The 2025 meeting will be game 120 between the in-state rivals and the first on Friday since 2007. The rivalry dates back to 1894. The teams did not meet from 2012-23 after Texas A&M left the Big 12 for the SEC. Texas joined the SEC in 2024, and the rivalry was finally renewed after years of discussion about scheduling it as a nonconference contest.

Last season, Texas notched a 17-7 victory in College Station. Texas improved to 11-1 on the season with the win over A&M. The Longhorns would finish the 2024 campaign 13-3, falling to Georgia in the SEC Championship Game and then going 2-1 in the College Football Playoff against Clemson, Arizona State and Ohio State.

ABC/ESPN appears to be building up its Black Friday slate of college football action. Earlier Thursday, it was announced that Ole Miss and Mississippi State will play on Friday instead of Thanksgiving Day.
