Add another name to the list of LSU players leaving Baton Rouge this offseason as tight end Thaddeus Moss announced he will be leaving school early for the 2020 NFL Draft.
The junior caught 47 passes for 570 yards and four touchdowns last season, with three of those touchdowns coming during LSU’s two appearances in the College Football Playoff.
Moss is the son of former NFL receiver Randy Moss. He ended up playing only one season in Baton Rouge after transferring in from N.C. State, where he began his college career.
The LSU tight end becomes the latest Tiger to declare early for the 2020 NFL Draft, joining defensive back Grant Delpit, receiver Justin Jefferson, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, center Lloyd Cushenberry, linebacker Jacob Phillips, linebacker Patrick Queen, left tackle Saahdiq Charles and linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson.
