The next Eli? ‘Dan Patrick Show’ debates if Joe Burrow should refuse to go to the Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and on the surface, that would seem to be good news for LSU QB Joe Burrow.

Burrow grew up in Ohio and was at Ohio State before transferring to LSU and becoming a national champion and Heisman Trophy winner.

However, when you look at the Bengals’ infrastructure and their future prospects, it might not be the best place for Burrow to find success. So, on the “Dan Patrick Show,” host Dan Patrick and his staff debated whether or not Burrow should take a page out of Eli Manning’s playbook.

Back in 2004, Manning refused to play for the San Diego Chargers, forcing them to trade him to the New York Giants. Should Burrow follow a similar path? Here’s a look at the debate:
