Who wins in Jacksonville this weekend?

During a recent appearance on ESPN show “First Take,” Tim Tebow did not reveal his official prediction for the game but he was willing to share his take on how the game would likely be decided Saturday afternoon in Jacksonville.

The way Tebow sees it playing out, the team that is able to dictate the style of play will win this matchup.

“I think it all comes down to style of play,” Tebow said on the show. “Listen, Georgia’s the most physical team in the country, on offensive and defense. Georgia wants to take this and make this a backyard brawl. They want to turn this from the largest outdoor cocktail party, into the largest fight. They want to get physical, they want to slow the game down, they want to have ground and pound on both sides of the ball.”

That style of play is the exact opposite of what the Gators want to do, according to Tebow.

“Florida doesn’t. Florida wants to use their skill, their tight ends, their receivers Kadarius Toney, Kyle Pitts, Kyle Trask. They want to spread it out,” the former Heisman winner continued. “Which style of play takes over?

“If Florida is able to turn this to kind of basketball on grass, Florida has a huge advantage. But if it’s a style of play that Georgia wants, the physical, backyard brawl, Georgia has an advantage. If Florida is able to do that, I think they have too many playmakers, they get it done, unless it’s played on Georgia’s terms.”

So far during the Dan Mullen and Kirby Smart eras at their respective schools, Georgia’s style has won out in this matchup but this could be the year that changes in Jacksonville.

The Gators and Bulldogs are set to face off Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT on CBS.
