The return of Todd Gurley in a football uniform is a much anticipated event this year.

Gurley, who tore his ACL last November at Georgia, passed his conditioning test Tuesday “impressively”, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The Rams were prepared to let him start training camp on the non-football injury list, but since he passed the test, he’ll begin training camp on the active roster.

Gurley will join former Auburn running back Tre Mason on the Rams’ roster, along with backups Benny Cunningham and Isaiah Pead.

The Rams drafted Gurley with the No. 10 pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
