The countdown to the NFL Combine and NFL Draft is on.

NFL.com’s senior writer Bucky Brooks recently broke down the top five prospects at every position, and several SEC players are highly rated, according to the analyst.

Here’s where Brooks ranked the SEC players:

Running backs
2. Derrick Henry, Alabama
3. Alex Collins, Arkansas

Wide receivers
1. Laquon Treadwell, Ole Miss

Tight ends
1. Hunter Henry, Arkansas
5. Jerrell Adams, South Carolina

Offensive tackles
1. Laremy Tunsil, Ole Miss
5. Shon Coleman, Auburn

Offensive guards/centers
3. Vadal Alexander, OG, LSU
4. Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama

Defensive ends
5. Jon Bullard, Florida

Defensive tackles
1. A’Shawn Robinson, Alabama
2. Jarran Reed, Alabama
3. Robert Nkemdiche, Ole Miss

Linebackers
3. Reggie Ragland, Alabama

Hybrids
1. Leonard Floyd, Georgia

Cornerbacks
2. Vernon Hargreaves, Florida

Of Brooks’ breakdown, the most surprising is his ranking of Robert Nkemdiche as the third best defensive tackle in the draft. Perhaps it’s not surprising to have Nkemdiche ranked behind Alabama’s A’Shawn Robinson, but Jarran Reed also ranks ahead of Nkemdiche.
