In a move that should not shock anybody, former No. 1 overall recruit in the Class of 2022 Travis Hunter has entered the transfer portal.

The star cornerback/receiver spent his first season at Jackson State with head coach Deion Sanders, who recently left to take the vacant Colorado job. Hunter is a expected by many to follow Coach Prime to Boulder, though Georgia, USC and Miami are reportedly in play alongside the Buffaloes.

Hunter played both sides of the ball at Jackson State, totaling 19 tackles with 2 interceptions and catching 18 passes for 190 yards and 4 touchdowns as a freshman for the Tigers.

Things may not be as easy for the former No. 1 recruit against Power 5 competition, but it’s hard to believe he won’t provide a major boon to whichever school lands him.

Is there a shot any team other than Colorado lures Hunter away?
