Though WR Gehrig Dieter only had 15 catches for 214 yards and four touchdowns in his one season with Alabama after transferring from Bowling Green, he has a big fan in Texas A&M QB Trevor Knight.
According to AL.com, Knight, who has been working out with Dieter as they prepare for the NFL draft, said he’s been impressed with what he’s seen from the former Crimson Tide receiver:
“Getting to throw to him for the last two months, he’s dynamic,” Knight said Thursday at the NFL scouting combine. “He’s a big kid that can run every route that you ask him to run, and he’s got sure hands as well.”
Dieter is currently projected to go undrafted in April by many NFL draft analysts, but having Knight in his corner can only help him.
With nearly two months to go before teams are on the clock, Dieter still has a chance to work his way up draft boards.
