Trevor Lawrence injury: Clemson announces its QB will not play second half against Syracuse

Clemson starting QB Trevor Lawrence was injured in the first half against Syracuse. Lawrence was taken to the locker room after this brutal hit.
Syracuse led Clemson 16-7 at halftime.
Just prior to the start of the third quarter, Clemson announced that Lawrence was out for the remainder of the game. No other injury updates were given.
Backup QB Chase Brice now takes over for Clemson after halftime. He’s a talented player, but he’s not Trevor Lawrence talented.
Of course, Clemson made headlines this week as the season’s starter Kelly Bryant announced he would transfer.
Dabo Swinney was asked whether he’d take Bryant back after Saturday’s injury to Lawrence:
