Tua Tagovailoa caps 6 TD-performance with game-winner to Jaylen Waddle in final seconds of 4th-quarter comeback

Tua Tagovailoa played the game of his career on Sunday. The former Alabama quarterback engineered a Miami Dolphins (2-0) comeback for the ages in a thrilling 42-38 win over the Baltimore Ravens (1-1).

Miami trailed Baltimore 35-14 after 3 quarters. Tagovailoa and the Dolphins outscored the Ravens 28-3 in the final quarter to pull of the thrilling come-from-behind victory on the road.

Tagovailoa was 36-of-50 passing for 469 yards, 6 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. It was Jaylen Waddle, Taogvailoa’s former Alabama teammate, who caught the go-ahead TD with just 14 seconds left in the game.

Tagovailoa’s 6 TDs tie him with Dan Marino and Bob Griese for a Dolphins franchise record. The mark also puts him in a tie for second-most in a single game in NFL history.

Waddle finished with 11 catches for 171 yards and 2 TDs. Tyreek Hill was Tagovailoa’s top pass-catcher, with 11 receptions for 190 yards and 2 TDs.
