Tua Tagovailoa reveals jersey number he’ll wear with the Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins selected Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and will count on him to be their franchise quarterback for years to come.
Tagovailoa wore No. 13 at Alabama, but that number obviously belonged to Hall of Fame QB Dan Marino for the Dolphins and has long since been retired.
On Tuesday night, Tua revealed that he’ll wear No. 1 in Miami, as you can see in the Twitter post below:

Wearing the No. 1 jersey is a lot of pressure, too. But, Tua is used to pressure situations from his time at Alabama.
Will the No. 1 jersey someday be retired in Miami with Tagovailoa’s name on the back? The Dolphins are counting on it.
