Georgia is gearing up to sign another loaded recruiting class in the next few months. While the Class of 2025 is the primary focus, younger prospects are being recruited, too. UGA addressed multiple classes with a pair of commitments on Monday.
The Bulldogs’ first pledge of the day came from JJ Hanne, an intriguing 2025 prospect. Hanne, from Germany, grew up playing basketball and soccer and only has a couple of years of football experience. He drew notable interest, though, as a potential college football player.
Out of Rancho Santa Margarita (California) Catholic High School, Hanne is listed as measuring 6-5, 280 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Hanne is rated 3-stars, the No. 51 player in the state of California, No. 73 defensive lineman and No. 677 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.

Georgia’s big day on the recruiting trail was far from over. The Dawgs next landed a blue-chip prospect for their 2026 class.
Dominick Kelly committed to Lincoln Riley’s USC program in March. On Monday, he decided to flip that pledge to UGA.
From Tampa, Florida, Kelly plays down the road for the prominent IMG Academy in Bradenton. He is listed at 6-1, 175 pound and rated 4-stars, the No. 21 cornerback, No. 40 player in the state and No. 246 overall in 2026.
He shared the big news on social media.
