Former Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson declared that he would forego his senior season with the Crimson Tide to declare for the 2026 NFL Draft, but that isn’t stopping high-profile college programs from trying to lure him to their campus.

AL.com reported Sunday that Simpson, through third parties, has continued to receive offers from other Power Four programs. The deadline to officially declare for the NFL Draft is Wednesday.

Per the AL.com report, Simpson has an offer that could total $6.5 million to play in 2026, and three SEC schools have also reportedly presented offers of at least $4 million and more for Simpson’s services next season.

Among the teams that are shopping for an immediate starting quarterback are Miami, LSU and Tennessee.

Simpson declared for the NFL Draft on Jan. 7 his first season starting at Alabama. Simpson won the starting spot before the 2025 season and started every game for the Crimson Tide en route to an SEC Championship Game appearance and a College Football Playoff victory over Oklahoma.

Simpson completed 64.5% of his passes for 3,567 yards, 28 touchdowns, and five interceptions. He also rushed for two touchdowns in his only season as a starter.
