Saturday was a busy day in the world of SEC hoops, with several entertaining men’s basketball games.

No. 1 Auburn got the day started off with a narrow escape against Georgia, the worst team in the SEC, in Athens. Mizzou scored a road win at Texas A&M, Vanderbilt upset LSU and Kentucky and Arkansas stayed hot with wins of their own.

As we enter this coming week of SEC hoops action, here’s a look at the updated standings:

  • Auburn — 10-0 in SEC (22-1 overall)
  • Kentucky — 8-2 in SEC (19-4 overall)
  • Arkansas — 7-3 in SEC (18-5 overall)
  • Tennessee — 7-3 in SEC (16-6 overall)
  • Mississippi State — 5-4 in SEC (14-8 overall)
  • Florida — 5-5 in SEC (15-8 overall)
  • LSU — 4-6 in SEC (16-7 overall)
  • Texas A&M — 4-6 in SEC (15-8 overall)
  • Alabama — 4-6 in SEC (14-9 overall)
  • South Carolina — 4-6 in SEC (13-9 overall)
  • Vanderbilt — 4-6 in SEC (12-10 overall)
  • Mizzou — 3-6 in SEC (9-13 overall)
  • Ole Miss — 3-7 in SEC (12-11 overall)
  • Georgia — 1-9 in SEC (6-17 overall)

Auburn pays a visit to Arkansas on Tuesday night in what should end up being the game of the week in the SEC.
