Urban Meyer and Dan Mullen made some offensive magic together with the Gators from 2005-2008, and now, Florida fans are hoping Mullen can rekindle that offensive fire.
Under Meyer’s leadership, the Gators won two SEC Championships and two national championships, and since Meyer left, Florida’s offense has never been the same.
Following the announcement that Mullen accepted the job at Florida, Gainesville Sun reporter Pat Dooley reached out to Meyer to get his thoughts. Meyer, of course, was supportive and appeared to have not heard that Mullen had taken the job.

Mullen’s first priority at Florida is to hold the high-ranked recruiting class together and find the quarterback of the future.
