Video: Auburn’s eagle crashes into wall before high school state championship game

It hasn’t been a great year for Auburn’s eagle mascot.
The eagle made headlines earlier this year when it nearly crashed into the goal post during its pregame flight against Alabama A&M.
This time, it wasn’t so fortunate, as it appeared to crash into the wall. The good news is it looks like it wasn’t injured.
No, there wasn’t an Auburn game Friday night, but the eagle was flying prior to the high school state championship game at Jordan-Hare Stadium between Opelika and Ramsay.
AL.com caught the pregame flight action.
Ramsay beat Opelika for the 6A state championship 21-16.
