Rick Karle of WBRC Fox Birmingham recently sat down with NBA great and current TNT analyst Charles Barkley, who played basketball at Auburn.

In a clip shared on Karle’s Facebook page, however, college football is the topic being discussed.

When asked for his impression of Gus Malzahn, Barkley says he likes the fourth-year Tigers coach, but does not really know him. Barkley also expresses admiration for Alabama’s Nick Saban, calling him “the greatest football coach ever.” In the spirit of rivalry, Barkley would like to see Saban out of Tuscaloosa.

He has a plan, and it involves the two of them taking a vacation outside the states:

“I want to go to Cuba. … I want to take Saban with me,” Barkley said. “There’s no chance he’d ever come back. … We’re not playing golf — I’m going to try and get him to Guantanamo Bay and get him stuck there.”
