Former Alabama defensive back Cyrus Jones — now playing for the New England Patriots — was ejected Sunday against the Cleveland Browns after being penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The penalty wasn’t clear on the replay, leaving fans perplexed as to why he was even ejected.

Jones was a standout cornerback and return man for Alabama, and he had a major impact on the Crimson Tide’s championship in 2015. The New England Patriots drafted Jones in the second round (60th overall) of the 2016 NFL draft.
