Video: Watch LSU players give hilarious Coach O impressions

HOOVER, Ala. — Last July, Les Miles entertained the media with his acting chops.
Miles is long gone, but the laughs kept coming Monday during LSU’s appearance at SEC Media Days.
It didn’t take long for questions to turn to Ed Orgeron impressions.
D.J. Chark said he has a couple but admitted it doesn’t do it justice.
“So every time I see him, he’ll come up, if we’re in a football setting, ‘Hey, hey DJ, what’s my favorite play?’
“Go deep, coach.
“Yeah, go deep, baby.”
Teammate Christian LaCouture said the defensive linemen have spent so much time with Orgeron that they all have some version of an O impression. Quality varies, but he said his easily was one of the five best.
LaCouture said every defensive coach has a get-off call, and he laughed when relaying Orgeron’s.
“Hey baby, sack-fumble, baby, let’s go,” he said, sounding more than a tad like Orgeron. “Hit the get-off sign.”
Orgeron, for the record, has never seen or heard any of his players’ impressions.
“Haven’t had one do it to my face yet,” he said, laughing. “I think it’s great humor. I think it shows great respect.”
