Virginia Tech’s weekend at Old Dominion could hardly have been worse.
The team lost the game 20-17, with quarterback Grant Wells struggling as he completed 21-of-36 passes for 193 yards with one touchdown and four interceptions.
To make matters worse, the athletic department confirmed after the game that there were items missing from the Virginia Tech locker room, indicating possible theft. According to the same report from The Richmond Times-Dispatch, the university is working with law enforcement and Old Dominion University on the matter and has no further comment at this time.

On top of this, the second half of the game was delayed due to the Hokies coaches getting stuck in the elevator.
