WATCH: Alabama legend Joe Namath meets fellow Tide star Quinnen Williams for first time

Alabama legend Joe Namath was a hero for the New York Jets, guaranteeing a victory in Super Bowl III and then backing it up.
Quinnen Williams, another former Alabama star, was the No. 3 overall pick for the Jets in the 2019 NFL Draft, following in Namath’s footsteps from Tuscaloosa to New York.
On Monday, they met for the first time, and as you can see below, they shared a hug and got some photos taken:

Why it took so long for them to meet, we’ll never know. But it’s cool that Williams appreciated meeting Namath so much.
Williams is earning rave reviews for his performance with the Jets so far, so maybe he’ll be another star for New York. Broadway Quinnen?
