WATCH: Alabama signee Jordan Davis surprised by return of Marine father at UA All-American Game
High school all-star games often lack highlight moments due to many factors, chief among them is a lack of familiarity and continuity amongst the participants. You won’t be able to say the 2018 Under Armour All-American Game lacked any highlights as the night’s best one happened before the exhibition game even got started.
During the player introductions, four-star Alabama defensive end signee Jordan Davis of Memphis got the surprise of the night as his father made a surprise appearance. Why is this such a big deal? His father is a Marine who had been serving overseas and had not seen his family since 2016.
What an incredible moment here put together by the Under Armour All-American Game, one that Davis is likely never to forget.
