Former college players are living out their dreams at the NFL Combine this week. Many of them will go on to have long careers in the NFL.
One of them may be former Alabama lineman Jonah Williams. Williams had a strong Combine showing, although he’s been hilariously criticized for his arm length. Nonetheless, he fired back at the notion during the media availability Thursday.
Following Friday’s workouts on the field, Williams got a chance to meet his role model in former NFL lineman Joe Thomas. Thomas was working the event with the NFL Network, and Williams received some encouragement from Thomas. You could tell that Williams was elated to get to speak with Thomas.
“Awesome. Keep it up. Good luck with the Draft and enjoy the Pro Day. I’m sure you’re going to do a great job,” Thomas said to Williams.
