These videos never get old.

Appalachian State head coach Scott Satterfield put walk-on Brad Absher on scholarship Tuesday, and the Mountaineers team went wild.

Walk-ons put just as much blood, sweat and tears into college football as scholarship players, and it’s always great to see some get rewarded for it.

Absher is a redshirt senior from Troy, North Carolina, and he played in 11 games last season, including 23 games during his three-year career. Absher’s made just two catches for 17 yards, but he recorded five tackles last season, all on special teams.

This is a great moment:

Appalachian State opens its season September 1 at Penn State.
