With Austin Allen having exhausted his eligibility at Arkansas, the Razorbacks will be led by someone other than an Allen brother on a full-time basis for the first time since the 2012 season.

Wednesday, new offensive coordinator Joe Craddock met with the Fayetteville media to discuss the quarterback position moving forward in under the program’s new head coach Chad Morris. While the Razorbacks do return some starting experience in rising redshirt sophomore Cole Kelley, Craddock said the competition would be wide open moving forward.

Craddock noted he’d like to see the 6-foot-7, 268-pound Kelley lose about 20 pounds before next season in order to play at a high level — which the coordinator says has already begun.
