Auburn lost one of its best defenders early in the second quarter at Georgia
DL Big Kat Bryant was flagged for targeting in a play where he made a helmet-to-helmet hit on Georgia QB Jake Fromm. After the review, the call was confirmed and he was ejected from the game.
The play came on what was an Auburn sack, and would’ve forced a field goal attempt from the 20-yard line, but instead gave Georgia first-and-goal.
Georgia couldn’t advance inside the 3-yard line, and had to settle for another field goal, which made the score Auburn 7-6.
