WATCH: Dan Mullen joins helicopter club, visits multiple Florida schools in style
SEC coaches don’t have much time left to recruit before the dead period begins Sunday. This week is the last opportunity coaches around the nation have to visit prospects at their school or home and the weekend provides the last opportunity to host recruits before National Signing Day arrives next week.
With time running out, coaches have to get creative to squeeze in as much face time as possible while they can. Taking that into consideration, Dan Mullen is choppering around Florida this week to make the most of the precious few days he has left to recruit for 2018.
The Florida coach has been spotted landing his helicopter at IMG Academy, no doubt stopping in to see arguably the most talented team in the nation while he still can.

Mullen also made a stop at Largo High School in central Florida. According to the Largo Football Twitter account, Mullen specifically stopped in to see Jaquaze Sorrells, Raymond Collins and Jayion McCluster — the cousin of former Ole Miss running back Dexter McCluster.

Whatever it takes to make the most of the remaining days/hours left is a good idea in the cutthroat recruiting landscape of the SEC. Who knows, the final decision of a prospect could come down to the final facetime they have with Mullen. Had the Gator coach not been traveling in style this week, that meeting may not have happened.
