It has been quite a day in Gainesville.
The University of Florida officially relieved head football coach Jim McElwain of his duties on Sunday, and now the school is getting set for a nationwide coaching search.
Florida lost its fourth game of the season on Saturday — in ugly fashion — when it fell to SEC East rival Georgia 42-7 in Jacksonville.
Athletic director Scott Stricklin is set to address the Gainesville media and discuss the future of Florida football at 7 p.m. ET.
